L'or Blanc - D'une manufacture à une école - Vincennes - Sculptures Céramique de Florence Lemiegre

Florence Lemiegre, guest artist of the exhibition “WHITE GOLD, FROM A MANUFACTURE TO A SCHOOL“. Three of her ceramic sculptures of the “Noli me tangere“ series will be part of this artistic and cultural event.

White Gold refers to the porcelaine of the 18th Century that was produced in the manufacture of Vincennes located in the Castle.

The exhibition retraces the history of the Vincennes manufacture, and shows the contemporary work of alumni and students of the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs of Paris.

This exhibition also aims at commemorating Jean-Jacques Bachelier, chief modeller  of the Vincennes manufacture and founder of the EnsAD in 1766.

Conferences, projections and initiation workshop will be organized along with this exhibition set up in several spaces, guiding the visitor from Vincennes downtown to the Castle, original place of the manufacture.
