Salon d'Automne à Pafos - Chypre - Sculptures Céramique de Florence Lemiegre

The diptych “Culbutos – Rencontre résiliente“ in Cyprus for a 5 months adventure.

Event organized by the Institut français de Chypre – Γαλλικό Ινστιτούτο Κύπρου.

Two places, two openings: 

• March 13rd at 7pm: inauguration of the exhibit at the Institut français of Cyprus and conference by plastician artist Théodoulos Grégoriou “Review of the evolution of contemporary art fairs in Paris“.

• March 14th at 7:30pm: Opening of the exhibit at the Collection Gallery (15A, Avenue de Limassol, Nicosie).

Paphos, third city of the Republic of Cyprus and Cultural European Capital 2017, welcomes a collective of 70 artists selected by the Salon d’Automne for a highly symbolic in December 2017, associated to 30 artists from Cyprus, either greeks or turkish, thanks to the generous initiative of Ansermet Papadopoulos Michele Julie, painter and member of the Salon d’Automne. The set theme is the diptych to symbolize the link between the two parts of the island. This major and unique artistic event is supported by the Institut Français and the Republic of Cyprus.

Sylvie Koechlin, sculptor and president of the Salon d’Automne of Paris 2018 will attend the openings.

The work will remain in Cyprus in a second exhibit in Nicosia, Capitol of Cyprus mid-march, in the context of the major “journées de la Francophonie“ at the Institut Français and within the space of the prestigious COLLECTION GALLERY, partner of the Salon d’Automne.

Thanks to its rich history, taught in every art schools of the world, it was able to preserve the esteem of international designers willing to show their work in the French capital. In return, a lot of exhibitions are being all around the world under its prestigious banner.
