A state of mind:

A unique gallery created under the impulsion of Isabelle Floc’h, psychoanalyst and passionate about the links between art, thinking and psychoanalysis. Located in the very heart of the lively and creative XIe district of Paris, near the Canal Saint-Martin, the gallery resonates like a peaceful and reflexive calling.

In alignment with her will to support a renewed figuration that ressuscites emotion and in opposition with the choc culture that impregnates the current artistic production, Isabelle Floc’h presenes every year exhibitions of artists that share the same view.

Committed to create a place of “alive“ art, La Ralentie also organizes thematic conferences along with the exhibitions. These meetings reunite writers, novelists, philosophes, psychoanalysts, as well as people from the theater and cinema world. Each of the events share a common theme, questioning current events and the future of our human existence. They are based on a cross perspective, prioritizing open-mindedness, confrontation as part of a dialogue, and mutual enrichment supported by freedom of mind.
