Aline de Marcillac, Mayor of Ville-d’Avray, the Municipality, the Entracte gallery, and artists Florence Lemiegre and Marc Landowski are pleased to invite you to the opening on Thursday, November 6 at 6 p.m.

Marc Landowski, painter and musician, initiated this collaboration with ceramic sculptor Florence Lemiegre. The exhibition “Poetic Variations” was born from this desire.

A flamboyant and unique collaboration between two artists with distinct artistic universes and styles. Two forms of expression, two ways of capturing light and color that dialogue with each other and respond to each other throughout the exhibition.

Florence Lemiegre has chosen to present a selection of around forty artworks from her “Noli me tangere”, “Culbutos Serendipity”, and “Moons” créations. She invites us to observe nature and perceive biodiversity in a sensitive way. The question of balance and imbalance connects each of her worlds with a common thread through various explorations where matter gives life to emotional vibrations.

Each of her creations reflects the result of a search for equivalences, contrasts in materials, and a balance between sculptural and coloristic values. Her works are punctuated by a profusion of cheerful and dynamic colors, contrasting smoky blacks with shimmering and vibrant glazes. This palette of a thousand shades leaves the imprint of spontaneous pictorial expression, carried by the free strokes of enamel brushes.

Marc Landowski, grandson of Paul Landowski, world-renowned sculptor, son of an opera composer and a concert pianist, talks to us about chants, orchestras, symphonies, overall harmony, as well as contemplation and meditation. The thirty or so surrealist paintings on display explore the interplay between the visible and the hidden through a multitude of landscapes.

Many new works, developed and created in their respective studios, will be presented for the first time.

The artists will be present at the opening on Thursday, November 6 at 6 p.m.
