Exposition Empreintes- Sculptures céramique de Florence Lemiegre

From January 8 to April 8, 2020

From January and until April 8, 2020, Empreintes embeds ceramic sculptures by Florence Lemiegre for a 3-month trip. From January 8 to April 8, three of the collections and universes, the “Moons“, the “Culbutos” and the “Pavés, personnages“of the artist are to be discovered in the heart of this four-story building bathed in light on 600m². Between the studio and the Paris apartment, the place can be visited like a museum whose works could be touched.

Located rue de Picardie, which makes the link between the bubbling rue de Bretagne and the shopping streets radiating around the lively Carreau du Temple in the 3rd arrondissement of Paris, also called the Haut-Marais. A superb and atypical place redesigned by the architect Nabil Hamdouni, with raw and authentic elegance and staged by the scenographer Elizabeth Leriche. Welcoming and warm, the place, its architecture and its staging have therefore been designed to allow proximity with creations and enhance the intention and pure emotion that emerge from creations sensitive to the unique character.

A little history:

The Jules Verne workshop by Florence Lemiegre located in Assigny Petit-Caux in the Seine-Maritime department, in the Normandy region carries the Ateliers d’Art de France label.
