Xi’an International Children’s Art Museum - Chine - Sculptures céramique de Florence Lemiegre

This exhibit will take place in the context of the inauguration of the brand new Xi’an International Children’s Art Museum, the first of six museums that will be built in the International City of Art of Xi’an.

The work “Les Culbutos – Aqua neige“ is selected to be part of this great exhibit in Xi’an China, organized by the Salon d’Automne of Paris, within the Chinese cultural relationship program called “The new silk road of the 21st century“.

A collection of 175 pieces, all coming from the selection of Salon d’Automne, are part of this exceptional exhibit. This collection meets 100 pieces of Chinese paintings, created by artists from the Shaanxi province, including Master WANG Xijing (member of the Salon d’Automne), also president of the association. The constitution of this set will represent the inauguration of the museum, in the very heart of the future International City of Arts, still under construction as of today.

The opening was held Monday May 13rd at 3 pm in the spacious hall of the museum, in the presence of many Chinese figures et of Madame Jeanne d’HAUTESERRE, major of the 8th District of Paris. An important delegation of the members of the Administrative Council of the Salon d’Automne of Paris was present as well. The exhibit started May 14th 2019 and will be open everyday from 9 to 6. The French community of Xi’an was also invited through the French Alliance and the French Embassy of Beijing.
