L’OR BLANC II EXHIBITION, KEEP OF THE CASTLE OF VINCENNES – Vincennes – France

The “White Gold II” exhibition, originally scheduled for June 2020, has been postponed until next year due to the global Coronavirus pandemic.
It is therefore in June 2021 that the works of Florence Lemiegre, a former student of the National Superior School of Decorative Arts in Paris, will be on display. An installation of his sculptures will be on display in the keep of the Château de Vincennes. Following the success of the exhibition “White gold, from a factory to a school” in 2018, the association of Ensad alumni will repeat this event in June 2021 by offering the public a facet of history of the Vincennes factory and more particularly its influence in Europe.

Visits, conferences, concerts and workshops will accompany this exhibition designed in several spaces and whose common thread will allow visitors to make the link between the cradle of the history of Vincennes porcelain and contemporary creation, testifying to the vitality of this discipline. always renewed at the National School of Decorative Arts in the “Ceramic Studio: from drawing to volume”.
For this edition “L’OR BLANC II”, the Hungarian factories are invited. To date in Hungary, our contacts are in contact with the Zolnay museum in Pécs, the Faculty of Art at the University of Pécs, the Museum of Decorative Arts in Budapest, the Moholy-Nagy University of Applied Art in Budapest. Herend and Zsolnay porcelain factories. The Bassali Institute in Paris and the association of friends of the Hungarian Institute provide the link between the different institutions.

• The Center des Musées Nationaux is a partner of this event. The keep of the Château de Vincennes is in particular the place to exhibit the historical pieces which we will be loaned by our Hungarian partners and possibly the Museum of Decorative Arts in Paris.
• The C14 Paris association is also one of the partner of this project. C14-PARIS is an association law 1901 intended to promote contemporary sculptural ceramics (from the volume to the installation mix-media) French and European.
• The city of Vincennes is a partner of this event.
